  1. wow.
It's actually going to let me speak!
(the comment commando froths and barks a bit,
    on other posts)
Anyhow - for the first time since Brown Eyed Girl (1967) we now have a brand new and entirely relevant Sha la la.
(I can't tell you what this means to me)
Not even under the influence of truth serum....

This song............should be invited out into society at large, I think. It is infectious, which may help somewhat in neutralizing the proliferation of health-zombies controlling our schools, airports, and library turnstyles (sp intentional.)

It is also too intelligent for its own good, probably. However, it does speak bravely of war, so I'm assuming that if dressed in proper fatigues and armed with banana skins, used paperbacks, coffee alternatives, and a week's supply of guitar strings, it should do alright.

Anyway I'm always impressed with the brashness of calling (musically) our PM to attention.....
knowing he is actually capable of responding in kind (though heaven knows how this may tilt the national trust and international diplomatic intrigues of tomorrow)
nevermind all that - the ah, -live- performance of said and same is only slightly distracting from the actual brilliance of delivery....by the stange and peculiar fact that certain gestures, grimaces and other spontaneous method and technique..........is strangely reminiscent of Anthony Hopkins (were he able to just relax and rock, a bit.)
Of course this was not planned, intentional, decreed, decried or in any way otherwise prescient in this known or any other unknown universes (rather a trick of the mind, an optical illusion, balderdash, or feedback from bad toothpaste)
Curiously, the song suggests quietly (in the middle of such spurious and meticulous energy) to seriously take nothing serious (or is that the other way around - I think they both come out the same.)

At any rate, I love the toon - it is a devilish bit of good stuff all around, and will follow its long and winding road with interest and curiosity.
Otherwise, I'll listen to it boisterously, as required, and would encourage all others to do the same / it helps considerably to remove gathering dust from eyebrows, shoulder pads, and the deep dark and dance recesses of our circus souls.
    amen!
